Day 5 of VKSA-2025: Agricultural Awareness Reaches Remote Villages of Kupwara

Kupwara, Jun,03:Continuing its committed efforts towards transforming the agricultural landscape under the Viksit Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (VKSA)-2025, the district witnessed an eventful Day 5 with nine awareness programmes conducted across 27 villages, including the far-flung area of Manigah in Hyhama block.

Three dedicated teams, led by the Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kupwara prof Kaiser Mohi-ud-Din Malik along with scientists and Agriculture Extension Officers, engaged directly with farming communities to address pressing issues and explore solutions in agriculture and allied sectors.

The programmes have evoked an enthusiastic response from farmers, who expressed satisfaction with this initiative of the Government of India. The outreach events saw active participation from various sections of society, including local leaders and public representatives, fostering an inclusive dialogue on agricultural development and rural prosperity.

Farmers expressed their delight at having agricultural scientists and experts reach their doorsteps, offering timely guidance on crop management, soil health, and livestock care. The initiative is also successfully connecting more farmers to KVK through WhatsApp groups and other digital platforms, ensuring continuous support and knowledge sharing beyond these field visits.

VKSA-2025 continues to gain momentum in the district, empowering farmers with modern practices and fostering a community-driven approach to rural development.
