Langate, Jun,03:In a significant boost to the educational infrastructure of Qaziabad, a new library-cum-reading room titled ‘The Book Nest’ was officially inaugurated near the Sumo Stand in Kralgund, Langate on Monday. The facility envisioned as a ray of hope for the educated youth of the region, aims to promote a vibrant reading culture and provide a peaceful study environment for students, aspirants, and book enthusiasts alike.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Hon’ble MLA Langate, Sheikh Khurshid, who hailed the initiative as a commendable step towards empowering local youth through education and access to knowledge. "Such facilities are the need of the hour in areas like Qaziabad, where our talented youth deserve better opportunities and resources," he remarked while addressing the gathering.
Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were SHO Kralgund Arsalan Ahmed, BDO Qaziabad, and several other distinguished guests, reflecting the collaborative commitment of the local administration to uplift educational opportunities in the region.
The Book Nest is more than just a conventional library; it has been designed as a modern, community learning hub. Equipped with free high-speed internet, CCTV surveillance, air-conditioned reading rooms, clean washrooms, pure drinking water, and aesthetically pleasing lighting, the facility promises a comfortable and secure environment for study.
Additionally, the library management announced special provisions for underprivileged students from far-flung areas of Qaziabad, including free night stays and fee concessions, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the pursuit of education.
MLA Sheikh Khurshid also assured the library administration of his full support and cooperation in further developing the facility and its services in the future.
The local residents warmly welcomed the initiative, stating that such developments were long overdue and would greatly benefit the area's youth, particularly those preparing for competitive exams.
