Handwara,Aug,11: In a spirited celebration of patriotism and national unity, Handwara Police, in collaboration with the Education Department and civil society, today organized mega Tiranga rallies across Police District Handwara as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga and Meri Maati Mera Desh campaigns.
The rallies were held simultaneously at Handwara, Langate, Qalamabad, Vilgam, and Kralgund, witnessing an overwhelming turnout of police personnel, students from various schools, teachers, members of civil society, and local residents. With the Tricolour held high and patriotic slogans echoing through the streets, the events radiated an atmosphere of pride and solidarity.
Flagged off by senior police officers, the rallies saw students in colourful uniforms carrying banners and placards promoting unity, peace, and the ideals of freedom. At the conclusion ceremonies in each venue, the National Anthem was sung in unison, and speakers paid homage to the sacrifices of freedom fighters, encouraging citizens to work collectively for a stronger, united India.
Police Handwara extended heartfelt thanks to all participants, especially students, teachers, and civil society members, for making the events a resounding success. Reaffirming their dedication to peace, brotherhood, and patriotism, the police stressed their continued commitment to strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the public.
