JKTA Chandoosa Reconstitutes Zonal Body to Strengthen Educational Advocacy

Chandoosa, Nov 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) Chandoosa on Wednesday announced a major restructuring of its zonal body, aimed at boosting organisational efficiency and amplifying the Association’s educational outreach across the region.

 

The decision was taken during a meeting attended by District Vice President Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, along with senior leaders Fayaz Ahmad Malik, Shabir Ahmad Lone, Bilal Ahmad Lone, Chowdhary Munaver Hussain, Zonal President Tahir Ahmad Beigh, and scores of teachers and school representatives.

 

Association leaders said the reconstitution was essential for improving coordination within the zone, addressing teachers’ issues more effectively, and ensuring deeper engagement with the academic community.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the leadership affirmed that the newly formed body would work with renewed commitment to protect teachers’ rights, enhance academic standards, and promote a student-centric learning environment. They added that transparency, accountability, and teamwork will serve as guiding principles for the new committee as it takes up key concerns including infrastructure gaps, teacher welfare, and the implementation of educational reforms.
