Handwara, Feb, 28: A farewell function was organized at the District Police Lines (DPL) Handwara to honour police personnel retiring from service upon attaining superannuation.
The function was presided over by Senior Superintendent of Police Handwara, Shri Sahil Sarangal, IPS, and attended by DySP DAR DPL Handwara along with other senior officers and officials of the district police.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Handwara appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and exemplary services rendered by the retiring personnel during their distinguished careers. He commended their unwavering commitment towards maintaining law and order and serving the public with sincerity and devotion.
DySP DAR DPL Handwara also congratulated the retirees and acknowledged their discipline, integrity, and valuable contribution to the police department over the years.
On the occasion, mementos and tokens of appreciation were presented to the retiring officials as a gesture of respect and recognition for their selfless service.
The retiring personnel expressed gratitude to the department and their colleagues for the support and cooperation extended to them throughout their service tenure.
