JKAACL Mourns Demise of Eminent Kashmiri Writer Abdul Gani Baig Athar.

Srinagar, Feb 27: The Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) has expressed profound grief over the demise of noted Kashmiri writer Abdul Gani Baig Athar, describing his passing as a great loss to the literary and cultural world of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a condolence message, Secretary JKAACL, Harvinder Kour, said that Abdul Gani Beg Ather was a distinguished literary figure whose writings enriched Kashmiri literature. She said that Athar’s literary contributions will continue to inspire generations of writers and readers.

The Secretary further stated that the Academy stands in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Additional Secretary, Kashmir, Ideal Saleem, also expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the eminent writer, stating that Abdul Gani Baig Athar will always be remembered for his significant contributions to the Kashmiri language and literature.

The officers and staff of the Academy also expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
