Srinagar, Feb 12: Secretary Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has informed that the sacred occasion of Shab-e-Barat will be observed with full devotion and respect at the historic Jama Masjid as per tradition on the night of 14th Sha’ban 1446 AH, corresponding to Thursday, February 13, 2025. According to the reports, as per the statement, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, will deliver a sermon on the significance and virtues of Shab-e-Barat after Maghrib prayers from 7:30 pm until Isha, followed by a collective session of repentance and supplication (Tawba & Istighfar), InshaAllah.
The general public is urged to participate. Isha prayer will be offered at 9:00 PM. (ANB)
