Pak-Based Terror Handler’s Land Worth Lakhs Attached in Handwara

Handwara, April 25:In A significant crackdown against terror networks, Handwara Police on Friday attached the property of a terror handler currently based in Pakistan. The action was carried out following an attachment order issued by the Hon’ble Additional Sessions Court, Handwara.
The property, measuring 13 marlas and valued in lakhs, belongs to Habibullah Ganie, son of Ab Rehman Ganie, resident of Palpora Qaziabad.
The attachment was executed under the provisions of Section 88 CrPC (83 Central) and is connected with FIR No. 73/2011 U/S 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121-A RPC registered at Police Station Kralgund.
The property was identified as belonging to an absconder during investigations and enquiries conducted by Handwara Police. Officials stated that this decisive action underscores the continued resolve of Jammu and Kashmir Police in dismantling terror infrastructure and acting against individuals involved in anti-national activities.
A police spokesperson reaffirmed, “Such operations reflect our firm commitment to combat terrorism and ensure the safety and security of the region.”
