Baramulla, Dec 25: The mother of senior journalist and Chairman BWJA, Haji Karamat Qayoom, passed away at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday at the age of 102.
Family sources said the Nimaz-e-Janazah will be offered at 11:30 a.m. at Eid-gah Qadeem, Baramulla, followed by Taziyat at the family’s ancestral home.
Journalists, civil society members and well-wishers have expressed profound grief and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
