Wild bear injured five in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 13: At least five persons were injured in a bear attack in Boniyar area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, officials said.

They said a black bear barged into a residential area in Bernate area of Boniyar this afternoon and mauled at least five persons.

Four of the injured persons were taken to Primary Health Care (PHC) Boniyar for treatment from where they were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for special treatment.
