Srinagar, June 12: Syed Ghulam Mohiuddin Bukhari, a well-known socio-political personality of Kreeri-Muradabad and father of Advocate Syed Shabir Bukhari and Syed Fida Hussain Bukhari, passed away on Friday evening after a prolonged illness, family sources said. He was widely respected for his political acumen, humble lifestyle and enduring commitment to the welfare of society.

According to family members, Bukhari will be laid to rest on Saturday morning at his ancestral graveyard in Kreeri-Muradabad. The funeral is expected to be attended by a large number of relatives, friends, community leaders and residents from across the region.
