ACB Srinagar Arrests a JE and SO of the Electric Division in Panthachowk While Accepting a Bribe of ₹50,000

Srinagar, Sep 17: In a significant action against corruption, the Srinagar wing of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested two officials from the Electric Division in Panthachowk for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹50,000 in Sempora.

The officials have been identified as Junior Engineer Shaiq Sultan and Section Officer Mohammad Yousef Dar. According to ACB officials, both were caught red-handed while receiving the bribe money.

The ACB has confirmed that further investigations are underway, and both suspects have been taken into custody for questioning.
