Sopore,Jul,26:In a landmark initiative aimed at shaping the educational landscape of the Valley, the Indian Army in collaboration with the District Administrations of Kupwara, Baramulla, and Bandipora organized the "North Kashmir Education Fest–2025" under the inspiring theme "Taleem Se Tarakki" at Subhan Sports Stadium, Sopore today.
The mega event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 3000 students across North Kashmir, who were provided an opportunity-rich platform to explore higher education avenues in premier institutions across the country. The fest not only brought hope but also offered a direction to countless aspirants seeking quality education and career guidance.
Reputed colleges and universities from different parts of India participated in the event, offering insights into various academic fields including business, science, engineering, humanities, arts, and social sciences. Experts guided students in aligning their career choices with their interests and aptitude. In a major boost to educational access, scholarships worth Rs 3 crore were announced for meritorious students, particularly those from underprivileged and tribal backgrounds.
The Education Fest also featured a dedicated session under the 'Know Your Army' campaign, aimed at familiarizing the youth with career opportunities in the Indian Army. This not only ignited patriotic spirit among the students but also opened new horizons for disciplined and purpose-driven careers.
