Srinagar, Mar 01: Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered a fresh probe into the Ujjwala scheme after a complaint was received from Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

According to an order, the directions have been issued to Commissioner Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCSCA) to conduct the probe and submit the report in this regard by March 03, 2022.

“This has reference to an enclosed complaint received in this Secretariat on 26.02.2022 through email ID: rtimushtaq4@gmail.com regarding the improper functioning of PM UJJWALA Scheme in District Budgam. The complainant has also provided relevant links in the said email to support his allegations,” the order reads.

“In this context, I am desired to request you to kindly get the matter enquired thoroughly and send a report to this Secretariat by 03.03.2022 positively, for the perusal of higher authorities and matter may please be treated as most urgent,” the order added
