Stranded Kashmiri Students Appeal for Transport from Jammu Bus Stand

Jammu, May 10:A large number of students from Kashmir, who were on their way home from various states across India and abroad, have safely reached the Jammu Bus Stand. However, the students have alleged that no transport services are currently available for them to proceed towards the Kashmir Valley.

Many of these students, who arrived in Jammu early this morning, said they have been waiting for several hours but no arrangements have been made to facilitate their travel further. The students have appealed to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, to intervene in the matter and ensure transport services are made available for them at the earliest.

“We have been waiting since morning with no proper information or help. Our parents are worried and continuously trying to approach the concerned authorities,” said one of the stranded students.

Parents of these students have also expressed concern over the lack of transportation and have urged the administration to take swift action to ensure the safe return of their loved ones to their respective hometowns in Kashmir.

Local authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter. #highlight #LikeFollowShare #followers Syed Jahangir Bukhari Office of LG, J&K Er Rashid Narendra Modi Divisional Commissioner Office Srinagar District Administration Kupwara Omar Abdullah Pc Pandithpora VOA Urdu Ravinder Raina Meer Junaid Narendra Modi News I Support Narendra Modi Carvan of Change - PC Halqa Pohru Headlines Today
