Non-local Worker Dies of Alleged Suicide in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: A non-local worker has died of alleged suicide in Srinagar on Thursday, official sources said.

The official sources informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that a worker at Bistro Boulevard Restaurant & Bakery was found unconscious at his rented room.

"The worker, identified as Sanjay Guru son of Debabhadur Guru of Jalpaiguri West Bengal, was immediately brought to JLNM Rainawari, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival", they said.

While it is presumed that the person died of suicide, a police official told Kashmir Scroll that they have registered a case in this regard to ascertain the cause of death. (KS)
