Javid Qurashi calls on party president Ravinder Raina, apprise him about development issues  Raise the issue of Daily wagers, Execution of projects in Kupwara

  • Handwara, Feb,15:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Javid Ahmad Qureshi on Tuesday called a meeting with the party's president Ravinder Raina at Jammu. During the meeting, Qureshi apprised of the problems faced by the district Kupwara and mentioned paying attention to the people suffering from various problems. Qurashi took up the issue of the clean drinking water scarcity people face in Handwara and its adjoining areas. The Jal Shakti Handwara failed to provide portable drinking water to the Handwara division due to which people are badly suffering, he said. He also briefed him about the electricity department, that several villages need electrical wire and poles, and delay in the execution of projects in the Kupwara. Javid Qurashi also handed over a resolution to Ravinder Raina for bringing Handwara under district status. During the meeting, it was also taken into consideration the long-awaited demand of daily wagers for their early release wages, he added.BJP party president UT Ravinder Raina gave a patient hearing and assured the readdress of the grievances. Qurashi thanked Ravinder Raina for his time and also appreciated his efforts of public outreach.
