Three militant associates arrested in Pulwama

Srinagar, March 8: Three associates of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant outfit have been arrested in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday. A hand grenade and other ammunition have been recovered from them, police said.
The militant associates were arrested by the joint team of police, 55-RR and 182 Bn of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and have recovered grenades and other ammunition from them.
“Those arrested have been identified as Amir Nazir Hazar, Suhail Ahmad Bhat, Nasir Hussain all residents of Chinar Bagh in Pulwama.” A police official said.
He said the trio were the associates of LeT militant Arif Hazar from whom a grenade, 13 rounds of AK-47 and other incriminating materials was recovered.
An FIR has been registered under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
