Snow ‘Taj Mahal’ becomes cynosure for visitors at ski-resort Gulmarg

Baramulla, Feb 11 Feb: A snow sculpture at ski-resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has become the centre of attraction for both domestic and international tourists these days.
The snow-sculpture is the replica of one of the world’s seven wonders, the famous Taj Mahal in Agra. The snow carving was created by The Grand Mumtaz Resorts so as to grab the attraction of tourists who visit Gulmarg to enjoy its scenic beauty.
Talking to ‘Headline Today’, General Manager, Grand Mumtaz Resorts, Satyajeet Gopal said the snow carving measuring 24 feet x 24 feet x 16 feet high in size was created within seventeen days by the hotel staff in sub-zero temperature.
“The idea of creating a replica of the world famous Taj Mahal was conceived in view of the huge rush of tourists in Gulmarg,” he said adding it gives unique experience to all the tourists and locals visiting Gulmarg.
