Bandipora, Mar 02: Bandipora police on Wednesday claimed to have traced a missing lady of Hajin from AShmuqam area of Anantnag district.
A police spokesman in a statement said the missing Hajin lady identified as Sheeraza Begum, wife of Ishfaq Ahmad Khan of Hajin had gone missing on 22-02-2022 from Hajin market.
“The lady had not returned back to her home and accordingly a missing report was lodged in Police Station Hajin and a massive search was launched in this direction,” police said.
After strenuous efforts and utilizing all available technical and human resources, the said lady was traced from Ashmuqam Anantnag, he added.
He said the lady was handed over to her legal heirs in presence of respectable people of the area after completing legal medico formality,
