Srinagar, March 16: A man in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district was found hanging from a tree on Wednesday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as 45-year-old Nazir Ahmad Malik of Waragam Beerwah. His body was found hanging from a walnut tree in a graveyard in the central Kashmir district.
Doctors at the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Beerwah declared him brought dead. "Body will be handed over to the family for last rites after completing all legal-medico formalities," a doctor at SDH said.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and investigation is set into motion.
