Girls continue to outshine boys in Bandipora Two students from the district among 1st position holders

Bandipora,16 Feb: Two girl students from Bandipora district have made it to the toppers list of Kashmir province in 10th class results that were declared on Wednesday evening.
Sundas Jan Daughter of Mohammad Yousuf Jan, a student from Girls Higher Secondary in Bandipora and Aabro Nazir Daughter of Nazir Ahamd Dar from New Green Land Higher Secondary School Sumbal has secured 100 per cent marks in the Class 10th board exams hence outshining boys again in board exams.
Both girls have obtained 500 out of 500 marks. Aaron hails from the Sumbal Sonawari area while Sundas Jan is a resident of Bandipora town. While speaking to Kashmir Convener Sundas Jan said that the Covid-19 pandemic was a blessing in disguise for her as it provided her ample time at home to study. "I made the best use of smartphones and my doubts were cleared on the call by my teachers. My parents, sisters also supported me throughout the year. It was not easy, but it was made possible with the support of my good wishes," she said.
Aabro Nazir whose father runs a grocery shop in the Sumbal market said that despite financial challenges as well as the Covid-19 Situation she has secured 100 per cent marks which is a matter of pride for her and the family. She said she did not follow any fixed or regular timetable throughout the year. "I did not have any timetable. I don't even believe in that. Whenever I like to study a subject, I study it till I get bored. This particular approach, I believe, makes me 100 per cent efficient."
The Board of Secondary Education (BOSE) on Wednesday declared the class 10th results. Daughter of Retired teacher, Sundas Jan, got 500 marks out of 500 and has become the first student from the Bandipora area who topped the matriculation result declared today, on the grade system basis.
Sundas was studying in Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora while Aabro was a student of New Greenland higher secondary school Sumbal. Both whiles speaking to Kashmir Convener thanked parents and teachers who helped in shaping their academics.
Sundas further said that she was always studying with positive intentions in all the situations which proved successful.
