SRINAGAR: Two youths were injured after a bike they were riding was hit by unknown vehicle in Baghat Chowk area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Saturday afternoon.

Official sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that two youths were critically injured in Baghat Chowk following which they were shifted to hospital for treatment.

They have been identified as Danish Rashid and Sauleh Shafi both residents of Budgam. Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation. (KS)

SRINAGAR: A bike rider was killed after he was hit by a tipper in Soibugh area of Central Kashmir Budgam district on Tuesday morning. An official told news agency, Kashmir Scroll that a tragic accident took place at soibugh Budgam as tipper hits bike rider.

Bike rider identified as ishfaq Majeed (28) from Paimus Budgam was critically injured and shifted to hospital where he was declared brought dead, he said. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation. (KS)

SRINAGAR: A woman died after she was hit by a motorcyclist in Redwani Payeen area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday afternoon.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident took place near Redwani Payeen area of Qaimoh this afternoon when an unknown biker hit the woman identified as Hajera Banoo (45) wife of Khurshid Ahmad Khanday of Danav Bogund.

He said that soon after the incident, the woman was shifted to PHC Qaimoh, however, she was declared dead on arrival.

A case has being registered in this regard and further investigation has been started, the official said. (KNO)
