SRINAGAR: A teenager was stabbed to death in Dalgate area of Srinagar on Saturday afternoon even as the accused was arrested, officials said here. 

An official told the news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the boy was attacked with a sharp edged weapon during a scuffle in Chinar Bagh area of Dalgate today afternoon. 

He said that the boy died on the spot, while the accused was arrested by police.

The boy has been identified as Burhan Nisar of Konakhan Dalgate. (KNO)

SRINAGAR: An Islamic Cleric was stabbed by his followers on Tuesday evening in central Kashmir's Budgam district officials said.

Official sources revealed that the victim, identified as Ab Aziz Parray, son of Mohd Ismail Parray from Parray Angan, Ompora, Budgam, was attacked by his own followers at his residence. In the incident the Cleric sustained minor were injuries

An official has confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident, and a thorough investigation has been initiated to uncover the truth behind this heinous act. (KS)

SRINAGAR: Unknown person on Wednesday stabbed a youth with sharp edged weapon near Eidgaah park in Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Wednesday.

A police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a youth was stabbed with sharp edged weapon near Eidgaah park in Srinagar.

 He said that youth identified as Kaiser Ahmad Sofi son of Gulzar Ahmad Sofi re resident of Noorbagh received injuries and was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(KS)

SRINAGAR: : A youth was injured after stabbed by two men in Rajbagh area of Srinagar district on Wednesday. A senior police officer told tnews agency Kashmir Scroll that a youth was attacked by two men with a knife near Zero Inn Rajbagh, leaving him injured.

He said that the injured youth has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. After the incident, the accused jumped into river Jhelum to escape.

However, they were arrested by BSF, he said. The officer further said that the case has been registered in this regard, and further investigation is on.(KS)

SRINAGAR: A man was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law in Batamaloo area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Monday.

Reports reaching news agency, Kashmir Scroll that during night a man identified as Danish Mushtaq (27) resident of Tengpora Batamaloo was allegedly stabbed by his brother-in-law in Tengpora Batamaloo.

They said that Danish has received left thigh injury and has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation. (KS)

SRINAGAR: Three accused held:- Police Umar Rashid Srinagar, May 13 (KS): A youth was on Saturday injured after he was stabbed allegedly by three persons in North Kashmir's Baramulla district. An official said that a three persons allegedly thrashed and stabbed a youth with a car key in Gulshan Abad Baramulla. The injured person identified as Tariq Ahmad (18) Gulshan Abad Baramulla has received injuries in arm and has been shifted to hospital for treatment. Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident and arrested three accused persons while further investigation has been taken up. (KS)

SRINAGAR: A female accused of stabbing and injuring a youth in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district has been arrested, police said. 

Srinagar Police taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, as per GNS, wrote, “One person Adil Ahmad Kaloo of Bemina Srinagar was stabbed by knife by his fiancée Asifa Bashir of Parimpora in broad daylight in Chattabal. The injured is stable.”

“The lady was engaged to victim & nikaah had also taken place. FIR No 57/2023 in Safakadal PS. Accused lady arrested”, it concluded. (GNS)

SRINAGAR:  Youth was grievously injured after stabbed by another youth during an altercation in Sopore area in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on intervening Monday and Tuesday night, officials said. 

They told GNS that one Umar Rashid Dar son of Abdul Rashid Dar, a resident of Teliyan Arampora in Sopore area was grievously injured in his back after stabbed by another youth identified as Muneeb Bashir son of Bashir Ahmad Mir after an altercation broke between the two over some issue. 

Several of the youth present on the scene tried to pacify the boys, but the two youth enraged over some issue continued to engage in a verbal exchange, they said adding soon after the things went out of control and one of the youth stabbed the other at his back leaving him grievously injured.

A police official told GNS that they have taken cognisance into the incident for due investigations. (GNS)
