<p>SRINAGAR: Apni Party hold a grand women’s convention at  Shaikul Alam environment hall Handwara in North Kashmir's Kupwara district.</p>
<p>While speaking at the party women’s convention that was thronged by a large number of women in sub-district Handwara on Saturday.Apni Party Women's Wing Provincial President Kashmir Dilshada Shaheen said that Apni Party has a clear vision for women empowerment in J&amp;K: Dilshada Shaheen.“We are committed to fostering social, educational, economic, and political empowerment for women in Jammu and Kashmir”especially  in sub-district Handwara.</p>
<p>She said, "Kashmiri women have suffered hugely due to the protracted conflict and violence in the Valley; Apni Party is committed to providing them a peaceful environment to ensure they have a better life ahead."</p>
<p>While talking to <em>Headlines Today,</em> Dishada Shaheen said that Apni Party has a clear vision for the empowerment of J&amp;K women. However, she emphasized that the womenfolk need to stand up for their legal and constitutional rights.</p>
<p> She said, “Apni Party will not leave any stone unturned to ensure our womenfolk that has suffered over the years get a better and dignified life. We are committed to ensuring J&amp;K women are socially, economically, and politically empowered. But Kashmiri women too have to rise for their constitutional rights.”</p>
<p> She added, “You must join our hands and support JKAP nominated candidate Handwara Ab Rashid Bhat so that we will be able to serve you better. I promise you that if Apni Party is mediated to power in the forthcoming elections, it will take a series of initiatives to ensure opportunities for women.”</p>
<p> “Apni Party’s key agenda is to work for peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir. Once sustained peace is restored here, J&amp;K people will start getting its dividends in terms of prosperity and development.” Dilshada Shaheen said.</p>
<p>Reiterating Apni Party’s key promises for the economic benefits of the people, she said, “As our leadership has decided that Apni Party, if comes to power, would enhance the marriage assistance for the women up to One Lakh rupees from the existing assistance of Rs 50,000; and widows’ pension from existing RS 1000 up to Rs 5000 each beneficiary.”</p>
<p> She added, “Also, we will provide 500 units of free electricity to the Valley during winters and 300 units of free electricity during Summers. Similarly, people in Jammu will have 500 units of free electricity during the summer season and 300 units of free electricity during winters.” “Apni Party is committed to providing four free gas refills annually to every household in J&amp;K.” She added.</p>

<p>He added that the increasing number of enthusiastic political activists and workers joining the Apni Party across Jammu and Kashmir reflects the widespread public acceptance the party is garnering with each passing day. </p>
<p>"This, I firmly believe, is attributed to our unambiguous political narrative and a clear-cut vision that has earned the trust of the people and fueled their eagerness to collaborate with our party," he added.</p>
