                <title>Youth Killed, Another Injured After Mortar Shell Goes Off In JK: Police</title>
                                    <description><![CDATA[<p>SRINAGAR: A youth was killed, while another was injured on Friday after a mortar shell exploded in Samba district.</p>
<p>In a handout to GNS, the police said that one youth namely Pawan Singh (19) son of Kuldeep Singh resident of village Chandli  died and another youth Roshan Singh ( 29) son of Kaka Singh resident of village Chandli sustained splinter injuries when Mortar shell they were reportedly fiddling with exploded in the forest area of village Chandli in the J/D of PP Goran ,PS Samba today around 5:00 p.m. Injured referred to GMC Jammu.</p>

                <title>Rusted Mortar Shell Found, Destroyed in Rajouri</title>
                                    <description><![CDATA[<p>SRINAGAR: A rusted mortar shell was detected and subsequently destroyed in a controlled explosion in Rajouri district on Monday, officials said.</p>
<p>Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that mortar shell was noticed by a local in Nowshera area of Rajouri who accordingly informed police.</p>
<p>They said the area was immediately cordoned off and a bomb disposal squad was summoned which later destroyed the mortar shell in a controlled mechanism without causing any damage.(KS)</p>]]></description>

<p>Police said that two live mortar shells were noticed in Pati Mehru village of tehsil Hiranagar in Kathua district by the locals and they informed to the nearby police station.<br />They said that Police and BSF team rushed to the spot on receiving the information.</p>
