SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) rescheduled the annual regular exams of class 11th in soft zone areas and examinations of classes 10th, 11th, and 12th in hard zone areas on Thursday.

BOSE Director Academics, in a notification, stated that the board received directions from the Joint Chief Electoral Officer of JK (Jammu) regarding the schedule for the conduct of Lok Sabha Election 2024, requesting to ensure that no examination date clashes with the election dates in the UT of JK.

JKBOSE mentioned that the National Testing Agency is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024, session-2 from April 4 to 15.

It further stated that JKBOSE received numerous representations from students requesting rescheduling of board exams in this regard.

“In view of the issue, all concerned are informed that the upcoming examinations of class 11th annual regular 2024 in Soft Zone and Annual Regular 2024 examinations of classes 10th, 11th, and 12th in Hard Zone Areas have been rescheduled. The said examinations shall now be held on rescheduled dates in two sessions, namely morning and evening shift,” the notification reads. (KNO)

SRINAGAR: Central University of Kashmir on Wednesday announced postponement of exams scheduled for tomorrow – March 7, 2024.

“It is notified for the information of all concerned that the examinations scheduled for 7 March, 2024 (Thursday) are hereby postponed,” reads a notification issued by the controller of examinations.

It said that the date for the said examinations shall be notified separately.

SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir has postponed all the examinations scheduled for (Monday) 19th and (Tuesday) 20th of Feb. 2024 in view of inclement weather conditions. Fresh dates for the conduct of postponed papers shall be communicated separately.
