                <title>Body Found in Anantnag Identified</title>
                                    <description><![CDATA[<p>SRINAGAR:  body found at Watnard village in Kokernag area of south Kashmir's Anantnag has been identified to be an individual from Banihal. </p>
<p>An official in the knowhow of things told GNS that a body was sighted by some passersby lying in Watnard village in Kokernag.</p>
<p>"A police team reached the site and took the body into its possession for medico-legal formalities," the official said, adding, "After initial assessment the body has come out to be of one Muzaffar Ahmad Shaan, son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Nowgam Banihal. </p>
<p>"Inquest proceedings into the matter have been initiated," the official added.</p>...]]></description>

                                    <description><![CDATA[<p>SRINAGAR: A minor girl was killed and four other persons injured in Donipora Sangam area of  Bijbehara in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday evening. </p>
<p>Reports reaching to GNS said that an accident took place between a Thar bearing registration number JK05L-8889 and a truck bearing registration number JK22-9011 resulting in injuries to on board five persons. The injured persons  immediately evacuated to SDH Bijbehara for treatment where among them a minor declared dead by the doctors. <p>The 37 projects worth Rs 124.17 crore inaugurated by Lt Governor include 29 projects of Jal Shakti; Beautification of main market Pahalgam; Multi-storied building in Boys Degree College Khanabal and Academic Block &amp; additional class room at Degree College Bijbehara; office complex at Town hall premises, MC Qazigund; Block office building at Ruhoo &amp; Footbridge at Kanganhall; NTPHC Kehribal under Languishing Project and upgradation of roads in the district.</p>
<p>The 39 projects at a cost of Rs 166.56 crore for which foundation stones were laid by Lt Governor include 20 projects of Rural Development Department; 9 projects of PWD (R&amp;B); 4 projects of Fisheries; development of recreation spot on River Bank at Pahalgam; Nagar Van (City Forest), Munjhadan, Mahind and Water Supply Schemes at Siligam Tantraypora, Imoo Sundoo, Brad Ikhrajpora &amp; Shumhall Hassanoor.
