<p class="MsoNormal">SRINAGAR: After autonomy, Jammu and Kashmir Administration on Tuesday said that all Gazetted/Faculty vacancies/posts under direct quota at SKIMS, Soura and Medical College, Bemina shall be made through J&amp;K Public Service Commission (PSC).</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In an order by the General Administration Department (GAD), a copy which lies with Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com reads “That the recruitment against all the Gazetted/Faculty vacancies/posts under direct quota, borne on the establishment of SKIMS, Soura as well as SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, henceforth, shall be made through J&amp;K Public Service Commission.”</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">“This is in continuation to this department's reference No. GAD(Adm)S1/2020-IV Gated 15.01.2021 vide which the SKIMS stands already advised about filling up all ClassIV and Non Gazetted vacancies in the Institute by placing appropriate indents to J&amp;K SSB, reads the order by Deputy Secretary GAD, Suhaib Mohammad Naikoo.       </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The order further said that further necessary action in the matter may be taken accordingly and this issues with the approval of the competent authority Lieutenant Governor. (KDC)</p>

Laway in his address said that despite progress at many levels the non-communicable diseases still remain the main challenge.<br />The event was attended by all HoDs , Resident doctors and other supportive staff of SKIMS.
